Adwick operates a number of different sessions, covering all age groups and all abilities.  These sessions range from Parent and tots through to teaching and up to full competitive training.  We also cater for swimmers who want to train but not compete in galas.  The information below details these sessions and their cost (which is among the lowest in Doncaster).  With around 26 qualified teachers we have an excellent teacher to swimmer ratio, and pride ourselves on being a friendly and open club.  You will find information on our coaches and teachers in the "Get to know your Coach" tab (under construction).  If you are interested in joining us then just complete the application form in the Join Us tab. 

Parent and tots - Saturday afternoon, 14.00 to 15.00.  This is for babies (who have had their injections) and tots up to 3 years old.  This session is designed to build water confidence, before kids move on to teaching. Parents of tots do not need to go in, although babies do need a parent in the pool.  £12.50 per month or £3 per session.

Teaching - Friday evenings 18.00 to 20.00, with each swimmer taking part in 1 x 30 minute session.  This is for kids who are learning to swim and uses both pools.  Kids progress through the groups based on ability.  We cover all 4 strokes and bring in additional water skills, making sure our lessons are fun.  Our teachers have at least a level 1 teaching qualification.  The monthly cost is £12.50.

Teaching Plus - Friday evenings 18.30 to 20.00, with each swimmer taking part in 1 x 45 minute session.  This is for kids who are more advanced  swimmers.  Sessions build on technique and stamina, getting kids ready for a move to squad training.  The monthly cost is £12.50.

C squad -  Friday evenings 18.30 to 20.00, with each swimmer taking part in 1 x 45 minute session & Thursdays 18.30 to 19.30. Swimmers now start lengths training, again with the focus on stroke improvement, stamina development and introduction of the skills needed for competitive swimming.   The monthly cost is £14.00.

B squad -  Thursdays 18.30 to 19.30 & Saturdays 14.00 to 15.30. Once stamina and skill has developed further swimmers progress to B squad.  Again training in competitive swimming skills continues, and depending on age kids have the opportunity to take part in some of the many galas Adwick enters (see the gala tab for information on these).  The monthly cost is £15.00.

A squad - Mondays 19.00 to 21.00, Thursdays 19.30 to 21.00 & Saturdays 15.30 to 17.00. This is the squad for our more advanced swimmers, who are expected to take part in swimming galas (both league and open).  Ability ranges from those kids who are relatively new to competitive swimming, through to those who swim at Yorkshire (county) level and national level swimmers.   The monthly cost is £18.00. 

Dolphins - Friday evenings 20.00 to 21.00. We understand that some of our older swimmers might not want to compete in galas, so we also run a session for them on a Friday, which allows them do swim fit training.   The monthly cost is £13.50.
